Caesars Rewards Citi Offer: Get $25 Back on a $250 Stay

A $25 statement credit won’t change your life, but on a Las Vegas weekend it covers a good chunk of a resort fee or a round of drinks at the pool. The new Caesars Rewards Citi offer pays you $25 back on a single Caesars stay of $250 or more, and it’s back for many cardholders with a fresh deadline of November 30, 2026.

It’s a Citi Merchant Offer, so it only works if it shows up in your account and you add it before you pay. The terms also have a few catches that can quietly void the credit. Here’s how the deal works, what it’s really worth once you stack it with Caesars Rewards and your card’s own earning, and how to avoid the mistakes that cost people the $25.

Offer terms as reported October 17, 2026. Citi Merchant Offers are targeted, so confirm the details in your own account before you book.

Caesars Rewards Citi Offer at a Glance

One quirk worth knowing: some older screenshots of this offer show an expiration of May 22, 2026. That was the previous round. The current version runs through November 30, 2026, but go by the date shown on the offer in your own account.

What Are Citi Merchant Offers?

Citi Merchant Offers work like Amex Offers and Chase Offers. Citi loads targeted deals into your online account, you add the ones you want to a specific card, and when you make a qualifying purchase with that card, a statement credit posts later.

The key word is targeted. Two people with the same card can see completely different offers, and you might see this Caesars deal on one of your Citi cards but not another. You can find yours on the Citi Merchant Offers page after logging in, or in the Citi mobile app under offers.

Adding an offer costs nothing and doesn’t commit you to anything. If there’s any chance you’ll be in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Lake Tahoe or another Caesars market before the end of November, add it now.

How to Get the $25 Caesars Credit, Step by Step

  1. Log in to Citi and look for the offer. Check every Citi Mastercard you hold. If it appears on more than one, pick the card that earns the most on hotels (more on that below).
  2. Add the offer to that card. Do this before you book or pay. Purchases made before enrollment don’t count.
  3. Book directly with Caesars. Use Caesars.com or the Caesars app. Rooms booked through Expedia, Booking.com, Citi Travel or any other third party won’t trigger the credit.
  4. Make sure the bill hits $250 in one transaction. The threshold is per purchase, not cumulative, and it’s measured after discounts but including taxes.
  5. Pay with the enrolled card at check-out. Hand over the same card you enrolled when you settle the folio.
  6. Watch your statement. Merchant offer credits usually take a few days to a few weeks to post. If nothing shows up after a month, contact Citi with your folio and transaction date.

The Fine Print That Can Cost You the Credit

Most of the terms are standard, but three of them trip people up.

Room rate only

The offer is described as valid on the room rate during the offer period. Caesars resort fees are charged per night on top of the room rate, and it isn’t clear from the terms whether they count toward the $250. To be safe, make sure your room rate plus taxes alone clears $250. Don’t count on resort fees, parking, dining or show tickets to push you over the line.

Pay at check-out

The terms say you need to pay at check-out with the enrolled card. If you book a prepaid or advance-purchase rate that charges your card at booking, the transaction may not match what Citi is looking for. A standard pay-at-hotel rate is the safest choice.

Mastercard only

Only US-issued Citi Mastercard credit cards qualify. Most of Citi’s lineup runs on Mastercard, including the Strata cards and the Double Cash, but a Citi card on the Visa network won’t work, even if you somehow see the offer.

What the Caesars Rewards Citi Offer Is Really Worth

On its own, $25 back on $250 is a 10% discount. The number drops as your bill rises, since the credit is flat: on a $500 stay it’s 5%. The sweet spot is a stay that just clears $250, such as two midweek nights on the Las Vegas Strip.

The real value comes from stacking. Booking direct means you also earn with Caesars Rewards. According to Caesars Rewards, you earn 1 Reward Credit per $1 on participating hotel accommodations booked directly, and Tier Credits on room rates and resort fees, which count toward status. Reward Credits are typically redeemed at around 100 credits per $1, so treat them as roughly a 1% bonus.

Then there’s your card’s own earning. Here’s how a $250 room rate plays out on two common Citi Mastercards:

What you earn on a $250 stay Citi Strata Premier Citi Double Cash
Citi Merchant Offer credit $25 $25
Card earning on the stay 750 ThankYou points (3x on hotels) 2% back, about $5
Caesars Reward Credits 250 (about $2.50) 250 (about $2.50)
Approximate total value $35 or more About $32.50
Effective return on $250 14%+ About 13%

The Strata Premier row values ThankYou points at a conservative 1 cent each. If you transfer them to airline partners, they’re often worth more, which pushes the effective return higher. Either way, you’re getting something like 13% to 15% back on a stay you were going to pay for anyway.

One note on Citi Travel: the Strata cards earn much higher multipliers on hotels booked through Citi’s portal, but a portal booking won’t qualify for this offer, since the terms require booking direct with Caesars. For a stay right around $250, the $25 credit generally beats the extra portal points, and you keep your Caesars Rewards earning.

6 Tips to Maximize This Caesars Deal

  1. Add the offer to every eligible card, then choose. You can only get one credit per cardmember, but enrolling the card that earns 3x on hotels gets you more back than a 1x card.
  2. Don’t overspend to chase it. The credit is flat, so it’s worth the most on a stay that just clears $250. Bumping up to a pricier room to hit the threshold only makes sense if you were already close.
  3. Use your partner’s card too. The limit is per cardmember, so if your partner has their own Citi account and sees the offer, a second $250 stay on their card earns a second $25. Authorized users on your account don’t count separately.
  4. Book a flexible rate. A pay-at-hotel rate matches the offer terms and lets you cancel if plans change.
  5. Join Caesars Rewards before you book. Membership is free, and your Reward Credits and Tier Credits only post if your member number is on the reservation.
  6. Keep your folio. Save the final bill showing the room rate, taxes and card used. If the credit doesn’t post, it’s the document Citi will ask for.

Who Should Use This Offer (and Who Can Skip It)

This one is a clear win if you already have a Caesars stay planned before the end of November, whether that’s a Las Vegas weekend, a work conference or a trip to Atlantic City. It’s free money for something you’d be paying for anyway.

It’s also useful if you’re on the fence between a Caesars property and a competitor at a similar price. A 10% credit plus Reward Credits can tip the math.

You can skip it if your stay will come in well under $250, if you prefer booking through a portal or online travel agency, or if you plan to cover the whole room with Caesars Reward Credits or a comp offer. In those cases, there’s no qualifying card charge for Citi to reward.

And if you’re building up your Citi relationship more broadly, the Citi checking bonus is a much bigger payout, with an application deadline coming up soon.

Takeaway

The Caesars Rewards Citi offer is small but easy: $25 back on a $250 or more Caesars stay, booked direct and paid at check-out with an enrolled Citi Mastercard by November 30, 2026. Stacked with Caesars Rewards and a card that earns 3x on hotels, it works out to roughly 14% back.

The traps are all in the details. Make sure your room rate and taxes alone clear $250, book a pay-at-hotel rate directly with Caesars, and add the offer before you pay. Do those three things and the credit should post without a fight.

Your move: log in to Citi, check every Mastercard for the offer, and add it today, even if your trip isn’t booked yet.
